The Ondo state governor, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has distributed the professional kits to all health professionals and Institutions in the state.
Aiyedatiwa who was represented at the event by the Special Adviser on health, Professor Simidele Odimayo at the Primary Health Care Office, Oke Eda, Akure on Thursday.
While addressing students and Nurses at the official distribution of the materials ,the governor urged them to make proper use of the kits (crocs & Scrubs) for the benefits of mankind.
” we urged you all to adequately make proper use of the kits and be proud to save lives of the citizenry “
” out of the 10,000 kits brought by Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu for the entire Southwest, 1, 166 belonged to the state which it’s being distributed today “
However, it would be recalled that the first lady of the federation, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu came to the state under the renewed Hope Initiative Health Programme to present the kits to midwives in the SouthWest at the International Event Centre DOME, Alagbaka, Akure.
While responding , a medical student of one of the institutions, Olaide Adejube, who spoke with our reporter said, the gesture is laudable and urged state governments to emulate such gesture.
