I am Pharm. Ayuba Ibrahim Tanko (FPSN), a retired Management staff of NNPCL. I hold Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm), Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Master of International Relations and Diplomacy (MIAD) degrees from ABU Zaria; in addition to several Leadership and Management Courses I have attended in Nigeria and abroad.
I was a former Deputy President, Unofficial Member and Kaduna State Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN).
I have been a Pillar of support for young pharmacists over the years so their issues are close to my heart. I am not a Patron of YPG and PANS for nothing.
I am passionate about leadership. I am confident, self-motivated, dedicated, driven, focused, goal oriented and a team player with strong collaborative abilities. I have a high degree of Emotional Intelligence with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
I am reliable with a high level of honesty and integrity. I am fair and firm in the discharge of my duties by consistently applying rules and regulations while remaining flexible and amenable to new ideas. Above all, I have a proven track record of continuous service to the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria and the Pharmacy profession.
Having served the PSN in different capacities over the years, along with the experience I have amassed in Unionism, Management and Leadership, I believe the time has come for PSN to have someone with my level of experience and expertise to serve as the President.
I hereby formally declare my intention to contest for the office of President of the Pharmaceutical of Nigeria (PSN).
The PSN, under my leadership, will consolidate on the gains and achievements of our past leaders and explore new grounds in the pursuit of excellence in the Pharmacy profession. I promise to provide leadership based on equity, fairness, justice, teamwork and guided by the constitution of our society. In a nutshell, I will be a servant-leader.
I am, therefore, soliciting for your support as I contest for the PSN Presidency in November. Please, accept the assurances of the highest regards from me.
God Bless Pharmacy!
God Bless PSN!!
God Bless Nigeria!!!
